The National Junior Honor Society honors students who have demonstrated, through their elementary school years, excellence in Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character and Citizenship. Membership is open to qualifying students in Grades 6, 7, and 8. Eligible candidates are tapped (selected) early in the second semester. They are then asked to complete the application process. Lastly, , a panel of faculty members meets to make the final selection of students for induction into the NJHS.
